In the east of Roman tribunal, the gigantic stone stadia known as Colosseum was empower around AD 70-72 by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian ancestry as a benefaction to Roman people. Vespasian’s son Titus open the Colosseum authoritatively recognized as the Flavian Amphitheater.

There games were organized for 100 days like gladiators fray, furious animal fights. After the diligent use of four centuries the dignifying realm came to an end due to negligence. One-third of the Colosseum demolished with the passage of time but still Amphitheater is the most famous tourist attraction due to its symbolic history.

After a decade of construction Titus inaugurate the Colosseum with such a project of large scale with the hundred days of games for the public entertainment. According to archaeologist there were number of washrooms and drinking fountains in Colosseum. In the roman world Colosseum was the largest amphitheater with 190 by 155 meters.

Roman Colosseum is different from the previous amphitheater as like it was structured with stone and concrete. The extraordinary exterior had three arched Sports entrances. Each story contained columns of different style. Colosseum had the capacity of more than 50000 spectators and the audience was arranged according to the social status of people. Combatants who fought against the audience were mostly men but few are women gladiators as well. Generally the gladiators were convicted slaves, prisoners of war and slaves. .

The Colosseum events came to an end due to negligence and also natural disasters had demolish the Colosseum but the restoration efforts began in 1990s as it is the leading attraction for the tourists all over the world.
